Yesterday was our last day before the winter break and it was a busy one. We got to deliver the gifts that we made for the cafeteria workers/ custodians/ specials teachers/ office staff/ bus drivers /therapists:
We got to open gifts – one of our peer buddies, Allona, brought a present for each student in the class! How sweet is that?!
a game from Dr Mays, stockings full of goodies from Santa, and McDonalds gift card from Mrs. Chambers, and Christmas crackers with paper crowns inside:
Of course we had delicious goodies:
and our fourth grade peer buddies came to celebrate with us
And the kids got to take home all the crafts we’ve made this past week, the canvases we painted for our parents, and the photos Dr Mays took as a gift for our parents:
Aren’t we a gorgeous group of kids, though? Seriously?
And speaking of cute kids, we got another video from our Texas friends and got to see them open the goody bags and cards we made for them, and they also sang Jingle Bells for us! Since Dr Mays doesn’t have their parents’ permission to post their pictures on our blog, she had to blur their faces but take our word for it – they’re adorable!!
