During the month of September our writing project was on school helpers! Dr. Mays forgot to post our writing so here it is, better late than never!

First we each got to choose a school helper to write about. We interviewed that person, asking them what their job is, what they did, where they work, and what they like about their job (some of us used our communication devices or the iPad to ask the questions). Then we circled their answers on our picture choice board. We used those pictures to create a graphic organizer and then turned the questions/answers into sentences. We checked our sentences for a capital letter at the beginning and a period at the end, then we used the computer to write our final copies.
