This week in Math we have been learning about measuring capacity using measuring cups. We got to put our knowledge to work measuring powdered sugar which Dr. Mays used in a recipe to make icing for sugar cookies! We then got to spread the icing on the cookies. The best part was eating the delicious cookies!

 

Also yesterday we read about apples in our Weekly Reader. We learned all about the life cycle of apples, that they grow on trees, the parts of an apple, and different things that are made from an apple. Then we got to paint with apples!
